2011 Waipara Springs Riesling – New release
This is a low alcohol Riesling with vibrant acidity perfectly balanced with natural fruit sugars. Intense aroma of orange blossom with subtle spice and crisp minerality lead to a palate that is alive with crisp acidity. Food match: Anti-pasto, fish and shellfish dishes, delicate white meats Drink now – 2018
2008 Waipara Springs Premo Riesling – Pre release
Aromatically infused with lemons, lime and ripe apricots, Premo Riesling has botrytis influence with subtle notes of bees wax and spice. Dominated with clean lemon zest and limes, this wine is perfectly balanced with racy acidity and has layered complexity. Food: Afternoon sipping on its own, fruit, cheeses or light Asian style meals. 2011 Waipara Springs Pinot Gris – New release
This Pinot Gris has great balance, concentration and texture. It has aromas of crisp apple, pear drop and lime, with subtle quince notes on the palate. This is a food friendly wine. Food: Match with mildly spiced Asian style dishes. Drink now – 2012
2011 Bascand Estate Sauvignon Blanc - Recent release
Made in a Classic Kiwi style this wine exhibits aromas of pineapple and freshly cut grass. The palate shows richness with good texture and fine acidity. Bronze Medal, 2011 International Aromatic Wine Competition. Drink now – 2013
2011 Waipara Springs Pinot Noir – New release
This is a well-structured Pinot Noir with subtle oak influence. The palate has a natural fruit sweetness backed up by a core of dark forest fruits and a fine tannin structure. Food: Delicate red meats and game meats, particularly venison. Drink now – 2018
2010 Waipara Springs Premo Pinot Noir – Pre release
This is an elegant, velvety wine with hints of dark cherries and ripe plums. It is rich in fruit and complex earthy characters with ripe tannins and a balanced palate with fine acidity. One for the cellar, but is already drinking beautifully. Food: Match with delicate red meats and game meats, particularly lamb. Drink now - 2019+
