Winter trading

Please note we are open this Queen's Birthday Long Weekend.

Commencing 8 June, we will be open for our full menu on weekends only until the end of Winter. Blackboard specials will be available on Friday and Monday, with soup and other light meals available mid-week. Group bookings of 20 or more are welcome for full service during the week, but bookings are essential.

London International Wine Challenge Results

Silver Medal - 2009 Waipara Springs Pinot Noir: This wine shows earthy and savoury notes and is backed up by a core of dark ripe forest fruits. On the palate the low pH gives elegance to the natural fruit sweetness and the minimal extraction has resulted in a fine tannin structure. RRP $22 (Cellar Club take away $16.50)

Bronze Medal - 2009 Waipara Springs Sauvignon Blanc: This elegant expression of Sauvignon Blanc exhibits fresh aromas of pineapple and limes. The palate is focused, vibrant and balanced with a crisp minerality derived for our limestone rich soils. Enjoy with your favorite seafood or chicken dish. RRP $19 (Cellar Club take away $14.25).

Laze and Graze Waipara Springs

Waipara Springs Winery and Cafe is proud to be a part of the inaugural Feast of Canterbury.

Laze and graze your way through an indulgent 7 course degustation menu. Taste size portions are the perfect way to experience the finest local produce of North Canterbury.

When: Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September
Two sittings: 12.30pm and 2pm both days

Sad news

Sadly, our beloved wine dog 'Jonty' passed away this week. He will be missed greatly, and will be forever in our memories. If you have taken any photos of Jonty over the years and wish to send them in to us, we would be happy to display them on our website.
