New wine releases - Blush and Syrah, plus Waipara Downs wines

Finally, the wines many of you have been waiting for are now available ...

Waipara Springs Blush 2009 This wine shows lifted floral notes with touches of spice and fresh peach skin. The palate is crisp and slightly off dry in style with great texture and finesse. RRP $16 (Cellar Club mail order $13.60).

Waipara Springs Syrah 2009 Aromas of currents and peaches with spicy undertones. Well balanced oak with flavours of plum and red berries on the palate and a gentle savoury finish. Enjoy now or cellar 1 to 5 years. RRP $22 (Cellar Club mail order $18.70).

Waipara Downs Pinot Noir 2009 This wine is a blend of multiple clones grown in rich clay and limestone soils. Bright aromatics are complemented by old vine nuances and structured tannins. RRP $25 (Cellar Club mail order $21.25).

Waipara Downs Late Harvest Riesling 2008 (375mL) Delicately scented and intensely sweet, this is a wine to be served after dinner either on its own or match with a rich chocolate dessert, fresh fruit or cheese. RRP $29 (Cellar Club mail order $24.65).
