Waipara Springs News - This weekend

Saturday 5 March

As you will be aware, the Waipara Wine and Food Festival is no longer going ahead.

For those of you still looking for a day away Waipara Springs will have live music by Michael Hill. We are also running a special menu for the day which will feature the dishes that were planned for the event. These dishes are:

* Vietnamese crab and salmon cake surrounded by prawns and drizzled with a coriander and chillil sauce

* Seafood Chowder

* Greek lamb salad: Slices of Greek marinated lamb fillet served on a traditional Greek salaf with Olives, Feta, Tomatoes, Cucumber and Basil.

Sunday, 6 March

Our Children's Day event will run in our Top Garden north of the sandpit from 11am-3pm. The restaurant will operate as normal. Specials from Saturday, 5 March may also be available.

Children's activities include face painting, balloons, colouring in and vegetable animal competition. Children are encouraged to make their animal at home and bring it in for judging. Judging will be at 1pm.
