Bascand Estate

Bascand Estate was established in 1998 and owns vineyards in the premium growing regions of Marlborough and Waipara to produce award winning wines.

From its Marlborough estate, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir grapes are grown, while from its North Canterbury estate in Waipara, outstanding Riesling and Pinot Noir grapes are grown. The vineyards are certified as sustainable in keeping with our philosophy of looking after the earth and environment around us and this flows into our wines.

"Premium quality is our guiding force" says Scott Berry, Production Manager for Southern Boundary Wines. In 2007, the only Bragato gold presented for a Riesling was to the Bascand 2007 Riesling.

"Selecting grapes from regions most suited to their individual qualities gives me the ability to craft outstanding wines for people to enjoy."
