Waipara Springs is an entirely family owned and operated operation. We pride ourselves on delivering bespoke, intimate and enjoyable functions with the friendly and professional service. Our team are excited to plan and execute special events for any size and budget.


The Culinary Team at Waipara Springs have designed a range of menus for you to choose from and are happy to accommodate any additions or dietary requirements.



Waipara Springs, founding winery and café of the Waipara Region, was established in 1981 and remains an entirely owned and operated Family Estate.

We can create an experience to suit your requirements. We also have a Cellar Club which provides great benefits for members and invitations to special events.

Waipara Springs Winery and Cafe is located in the heart of the Waipara Valley. Planted in the early 1980’s the vineyard contains some of the oldest vines in the valley providing the entirely estate grown wines with a depth and intensity that only old vines can produce.

The vineyard of 26 hectares is planted with Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir and Merlot with the wines crafted in two differing styles, the fresh fruit driven wines under the Waipara Springs label and the structurally driven wines of the Premo label.

Our Cellar Door is located onsite where all our wines can be sampled including rare older vintages and the Waipara Springs Cafe is famous for its tempting array of seasonal dishes utilising fresh local produce.

50% of venue hire is required to secure booking. Deposit is non refundable. Terms and conditions must also be signed to confirm booking.


One week prior to function the number of guests and menu costs must be paid & balance of venue hire.


Outstanding balance of account to be paid on function date.

Venue Hire includes:

-          Exclusive use of venue for ceremony, reception, photos

-          Indoor and outdoor options available

-          Seating for ceremony and reception

-          Tables, chairs, umbrellas, heaters, tablecloths, napkins, cutlery, glassware, crockery

-          All bar and wait staff

-          Wine barrels for registry, seating plan, gifts, cake etc

-          Indoor/ outdoor sound system

-          Cutting & service of wedding cake

-          Parking, overnight if required

-          Personalised beverage list and menu

-          Table set up/ pack down

-          Helpful functions team willing to help make your day seamless and spectacular
