“Beautiful lunch on a beautiful winters day. The food was outstanding, the seafood platter was a perfect assortment of our favourites perfectly prepared. If the chef can cook calamari to perfection you know you're in a top spot. My nephew enjoyed the pork belly it was moist and the crackle on point. I was impressed he ate the entire dish including the lovely greens, red cabbage etc! The shoe string fries and the freshly house baked ciabatta loaf rounded off the meal beautifully. This place is destinational, make the effort on your weekend drive you won't be disappointed, and we didn't even try the wines ! Next time 🙌”

“Myself and my husband booked in for an anniversary lunch and it was wonderful. We started by having a wine tasting hosted by Katie, who was so informative and friendly. We then shared a bottle of wine and a platter board which was divine, very generous amount of food, we couldn't quite finish it all. Katie's husband Andrew kept checking in with us throughout and was very friendly and chatty too. A fantastic experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend.”

“A group of 7 of us went to celebrate two of our birthdays. We got platers to share which were very good. The best part of the afternoon was the brilliant service. Very attentive and great banter!! It is probably 20 years since I was last there. It will definitely not be that long until the next visit.”

“A perfect venue for a special occasion. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. The restaurant was most accommodating for some of our guests with alternative dietary needs. We were a party of 21 ladies, and we all had a fabulous time at an epic location. Also liked that our guests had the choice of wine as well as gin. Highly recommend this fabulous spot.”

“We had a get together to remember my dad who had passed away a year earlier. There was a group of 30 of us. Leading up to the event the team were so friendly, accommodating and helpful. Nothing was a problem and it was an amazing day. The atmosphere they created was just beautiful. We ordered platters and were given our own area for the time we booked. The platters were soooooo good. The food was tasty fresh and delicious. We all left with little boxes as the platters were bigger than we expected. The fire was lit and it was warm. Light music in the background. This was my dad’s favourite place to eat and I’m so pleased we came back here to remember him. Thank you very much to the team from all the Jollys. 5 stars from us.”

“Our family thoroughly enjoyed the 90th Birthday Celebration for our Mum which we held at Waipara Springs Winery. We had a group of 22 dining on the day. Communication with Waipara Springs was fantastic prior to the day! On the day we arrived to a table beautifully laid out and well placed to cater for our party with room for moving around. The set menu food was plentiful and beautifully presented, with all our guest needs catered for and thoroughly enjoyed by all. The service was brilliant all round and the team did a fantastic job! Thank you Waipara Springs and special thanks to Leanne for making our very special family celebration seamless and most enjoyable for all who attended and especially for our birthday girl! 100% plus!!!!”

“Waipara Springs was so fabulous! We went for a lunch and sat outside on a gorgeous day. The staff was so friendly and went out of their way to help us with the menu and wine selections. We weren’t too hungry, so we got the prawn salad and the pork belly bites with a side salad. It was delicious and perfect! We both had a flight of wine and loved all the selections. 5 stars for sure!!!”

“We had the most wonderful experience here for a late lunch! The setting is absolutely beautiful, but the food and atmosphere really stole the show. The baked brie wrapped in a vine leaf was incredible, as was the fillet steak and pork belly mains! The live singer was a fantastic touch, creating such a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us want to stay all day.The staff were lovely, super friendly and clearly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the menu items, which made the experience feel even more special. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute and highly recommend this spot.”

“What a perfect lunch stop on our way from Christchurch to Kaikōura! The place was full and there was live music playing, but even without a reservation we were lucky to get a table. We were served by a wonderful waitress Kristina who recommended the seafood tasting platter and a sample of four wines. The food quality was outstanding. We also got to sample their local white wine, Blended – something truly unique that we’ve never tasted before. We loved it so much we bought a bottle to take home!”
